QuickTime Setup

This site uses QuickTime audio streaming. In order to access these materials you must have Quicktime properly installed.

We use RTSP port 554 to stream audio. If you are behind a firewall you may experience difficulties accessing the QuickTime streaming media on this site. Contact your network administrator to inquire into opening the necessary ports to allow for RTSP streaming. Some internet service providers block some of the ports. It has been our experience that some users are unable to listen to our tracks as a result. This is not something we can fix, we are sorry about that, but this is something you need to take up with either your network administrator or your ISP.

A word about the Juke Box Feature: It is possible to play all tracks from an album sequentially and automatically. If you wish to listen to a specific track alone, you can still do it in the Track View mode. When in Album View mode, you will notice a new item on the page which is a box with a list of all the tracks, the Jukebox. You have the choice of clicking Play to play all the tracks, or to select one of the tracks and then click Play to start the automatic play with that track. While a track is playing, the information (title, performer) relating to that track is displayed to the right of the Jukebox. While a track is playing, it is possible to skip forward or backward to another track using the ( >> ) and ( << ) buttons. It may take a few seconds to load the next track. Please let us know if you find this feature useful and if you have any other suggestions.
